I like this well known story « Yu Gong moves the mountains ».
我很喜欢这个著名的成语《愚公移山》。
Pour moi c’est un peu la métaphore de « l’étude du chinois », une entreprise irréalisable.
As far as I am concern, this is the metaphore of “ learning Chinese”, an impossible task.
对于我，这是学习汉语的比喻，万难的任务。
Mais avec de la patience comme Yu Gong qui détruit les montagnes pierre par pierre,
nous finissons par acquérir la langue chinoise, caractère par caractère, mot après mot.
But patiently like Yu Gong who destroyed the mountains, stone by stone
we eventually acquire the chinese language, character by character, word after word.
可是要是能像愚公一样耐心地把一块又一块的石头从山上拆下来,我们就能够一字字,一词词的学会汉语.

愚公移山
Yu Gong déplace les montagnes
Yu Gong moves the mountains
相传，很久很久以前
Selon la légende, il y a bien longtemps
According to legend, long time ago
北方住着一位年近九十的老人
dans le nord vivait un vieil homme de près de quatre-vingt dix ans
In the north lived an old man of nearly ninety years old
他的名字叫愚公
il s’appelait Yu Gong (yu gong signifie l’Idiot)
He was named Yu Gong (yu gong means the Idiot)
愚公的家门口有两座大山
face à l’entrée de sa maison il y avait deux montagnes
In front of his house’s door, there was two mountains
一座是太行山
la première c’était la montagne Tai Hang
the first one was the mountain Tai Hang
一座是王屋山
la seconde la montagne Wang Wu
the second one was the mountain Wang Wu
它们阻挡了南北交通
elles barraient les communications entre le nord et le sud
they blocked the communication ways between the north and the south
人们需要绕很远的路
Les gens devaient faire un grand détour
People had to make a big detour
才能到达南方的豫州和汉水两地
pour atteindre le sud du Hanshui et de Yuzhou
to reach the south of Hansui and Yuzhou
于是愚公召集全家人开会
c’est pourquoi Yu Gong rassembla toute sa famille
therefore YuGong gathered all his family’s members
决定搬走这两座大山
et décida de déplacer ces deux montagnes
and decided to move these two mountains
第二天清晨

He tried to persuade YuGong that he overestimated its forces
愚公对他说
Yu gong lui dit

山上的砂石是不会层加的
les pierres qu’on a retiré de la montagne ne peuvent revenir
the removed stones cannot come back
而我死了之后还有儿子
Et puis, lorsque je serai mort, il y aura encore mes fils
Then, when I will be dead, my sons will still be there
儿子死了之后还有孙子
après que mes enfants seront morts il y aura encore mes petits-fils
after my sons’ death, my grandsons still be there
子子孙孙无穷无尽
et ainsi de suite
and so on
为什么不能把山移走呢
comment ne pourrait-on pas déplacer une montagne
how could we not succeed in moving a mountain
叟老听了之后哑口无音
Le sage ayant écouté cela, resta sans voix
The wise man listened and kept silent
后来这件事被天上的天神知道了
Puis cette affaire fut connue des divinités célestes
Then the affair came to the ears of the divinities in the heaven
他们都被愚公的这种精神所感动
Elles furent émues par la bravitude de yu gong
They were moved by Yu gong bravery
于是一天夜里
C’est ainsi qu’une nuit
Therefore one night
派了两个大力士
elles envoyèrent deux guerriers célestes
they send two heaven’s warrior
把太行，王屋两座大山搬走了
