La phonétique internationale n’est pas très utilisée en Chine. On trouve parfois même dans des méthodes de français pour les chinois, une phonétique inspirée du pinyin pour indiquer la prononciation du français. Voici quelques exemples de phrases usuelles en français :
The International Phonetic is not widely used in China. There are even methods of French langage for Chinese people that use a kind of pinyin phonetics to indicate the pronunciation in French. Hereafter some examples of common phrases in French:

Humour de Li Yu Chun / Li Yu Chun ‘s Humor/ 李宇春的幽默
J’aime bien l’humour de Li Yu Chun. Elle raconte cette histoire avec tellement de naturel alors qu’on se doute bien qu’elle est complètement inventée.
I like Li Yu Chun humor. She tells this story so naturally although everybody suspects this is a pure invention.
我很喜欢李宇春的幽默。她很自然地讲了这个故事,实际上大家这回事不真的。
Le présentateur : / The presenter : / 主持人:
听说你在读书的时候
去饭堂打饭打菜
已经有人负责帮你买单子
J’ai entendu dire que lorsque vous faisiez vos études quelqu’un avait réglé votre de note de restaurant à votre place.
I heard that when you were at the university someone has paid a restaurant’s bill for you.
Li Yu Chun :
就是我和朋友去吃饭
然后吃完以后就付钱么
老板说
已经有人帮你付过了
然后说完这句话以后
紧接着对我朋友说了一句
你的还没付!
J’étais allé au restaurant avec un ami. A la fin du repas au moment de payer le patron dit : « Il y a déjà quelqu’un qui a a payé la note pour vous. ». Tout de suite après il se tourne vers mon ami et lui dit : « La vôtre n’a pas encore étée payée ! ».
I went to a restaurant with my boyfriend. At the end of the meal we were going to pay the bill. The owner said :” Someone as already paid for your meal”. Then immediately after he said to my boyfriend “Yours was not paid!”
Alors il paraît que Li Yu Chun a un QI de 160. Elle est très intelligente mais de là à faire égalité avec Albert Einstein. Tu n’aurais pas un peu triché ChunChun ?
I heard that Li Yu Chun has an IQ of 160. She is very clever, but to score as much as Albert Einstein, I do not believe it. Eh, Chun Chun didn’t you cheat?
听说李宇春的智商达到160。她很聪明,不过和阿尔伯特•爱因斯坦一样我不相信。春春你还作弊吗?

Yu Gong déplace les montagnes / Yu Gong moves the mountains / 愚公移山
J’aime bien cette histoire bien connue de « Yu Gong qui déplace les montagnes ».
I like this well known story « Yu Gong moves the mountains ».
我很喜欢这个著名的成语《愚公移山》。
Pour moi c’est un peu la métaphore de « l’étude du chinois », une entreprise irréalisable.
As far as I am concern, this is the metaphore of “ learning Chinese”, an impossible task.
对于我,这是学习汉语的比喻,万难的任务。
Mais avec de la patience comme Yu Gong qui détruit les montagnes pierre par pierre,
nous finissons par acquérir la langue chinoise, caractère par caractère, mot après mot.
But patiently like Yu Gong who destroyed the mountains, stone by stone
we eventually acquire the chinese language, character by character, word after word.
可是要是能像愚公一样耐心地把一块又一块的石头从山上拆下来,我们就能够一字字,一词词的学会汉语.

愚公移山
Yu Gong déplace les montagnes
Yu Gong moves the mountains
相传,很久很久以前
Selon la légende, il y a bien longtemps
According to legend, long time ago
北方住着一位年近九十的老人
dans le nord vivait un vieil homme de près de quatre-vingt dix ans
In the north lived an old man of nearly ninety years old
他的名字叫愚公
il s’appelait Yu Gong (yu gong signifie l’Idiot)
He was named Yu Gong (yu gong means the Idiot)
愚公的家门口有两座大山
face à l’entrée de sa maison il y avait deux montagnes
In front of his house’s door, there was two mountains
一座是太行山
la première c’était la montagne Tai Hang
the first one was the mountain Tai Hang
一座是王屋山
la seconde la montagne Wang Wu
the second one was the mountain Wang Wu
它们阻挡了南北交通
elles barraient les communications entre le nord et le sud
they blocked the communication ways between the north and the south
人们需要绕很远的路
Les gens devaient faire un grand détour
People had to make a big detour
才能到达南方的豫州和汉水两地
pour atteindre le sud du Hanshui et de Yuzhou
to reach the south of Hansui and Yuzhou
于是愚公召集全家人开会

therefore YuGong gathered all his family’s members

Jeux de mots / Puns / 双关语
Les chinois aiment bien les jeux de mots. La langue chinoise ayant beaucoup de caractères qui se prononcent de la même façon se prête bien au jeu de mots.
Chinese people are fond of puns. Chinese language has a lot of characters which have the same pronunciation and therefore well suits to puns.
中国人很喜欢双关语。汉语有很多发音一样的字,所以双关语很常见。
Vous avez peut-être déjà vu ce caractère 福 affiché à l’envers. Il s’agit du caractère 福fú qui signifie « le bonheur ». Lorsqu’un chinois voit ce caractère à l’envers il dit « fú daǒ le » ce qui signifie « le caractère bonheur est à l’envers » mais qu’on peut comprendre « fú daò le » qui signifie « le bonheur arrive ».
You have probably seen this character福 written upside down. This character 福 means happiness. When a Chinese man sees this upside-down character, he says « fú daǒ le » which means the character happiness is upside-down, but it could be also heard as « fú daò le » which means happiness is coming.
你肯定一定看过这个字福倒了。这个字的意思是幸福。中国人看这个字的时候,说《福倒了》。不过也可以听说《福到了》。
* * * * *
Li yu chun est une pop star chinoise très connue. Les fans de Li yu chun s’appellent « les maïs » parce que « fan de yu » et « maïs » se prononce de la même façon.
Li yu chun is a very popular pop star. Li yu chun’s fans call themselves “corn” because the chinese words for “Yu’s fan” and “corn” have the same pronunciation.
李宇春是一位很有名的歌星。因为《宇迷》和《玉米》的发音一样,所以李宇春的歌迷也叫他们自己《玉米》。
* * * * *
Une autre forme de jeu de mots consiste à changer l’association des caractères pour former des mots différents comme dans l’exemple suivant.
Another kind of pun consists in changing the characters association to build different words as in the following example:
另一个双关语是改变字的组合,而形成别的词,看下面的例子:
Un garçon envoie un SMS à une fille. Le message est le suivant : « J’ai envie de discuter du patriotisme avec toi».
A boy sends a girl a SMS. The message reads as follows: “I would like to talk with you about patriotism”.
一个男士发给一个女士一封短信。短信写着:《我想和你做一次爱国主义的讨论。》
La phrase paraît bien innocente. Mais lorsqu’on la lit ligne à ligne cela donne :
J’ai
J’ai envie de faire avec toi
J’ai envie de faire avec toi l’amour
J’ai envie de faire avec toi (sur) « l’amour du pays » une discussion.
The sentence seems very innocent. But when you read it lines after lines, it means:
I
I would like with you
I would like with you to make love
I would like with you to make (about) “the love of our country” a discussion.
句子看起来好像很单纯,没什么,但是短信一条行一条行阅读起来:
我,
我想和你,
我想和你做一次爱,
我想和你做一次爱国主义的讨论。

Chinese people are fond of puns. Chinese language has a lot of characters which have the same pronunciation and therefore well suits to puns.
中国人很喜欢双关语。汉语有很多发音一样的字,所以双关语很常见。
Vous avez peut-être déjà vu ce caractère 福 affiché à l’envers. Il s’agit du caractère 福fú qui signifie « le bonheur ». Lorsqu’un chinois voit ce caractère à l’envers il dit « fú daǒ le » ce qui signifie « le caractère bonheur est à l’envers » mais qu’on peut comprendre « fú daò le » qui signifie « le bonheur arrive ».You have probably seen this character福 written upside down.
Li yu chun est une pop star chinoise très connue. Les fans de Li yu chun s’appellent « les maïs » parce que « fan de yu » et « maïs » se prononce de la même façon.Li yu chun is a very popular pop star. Li yu chun’s fans call themselves “corn” because the chinese words for “Yu’s fan” and “corn” have the same pronunciation.
李宇春是一位很有名的歌星。因为《宇迷》和《玉米》的发音一样,所以李宇春的歌迷也叫他们自己《玉米》。
Une autre forme de jeu de mots consiste à changer l’association des caractères pour former des mots différents comme dans l’exemple suivant.
Another kind of pun consists in changing the characters association to build different words as in the following example:
另一个双关语是改变字的组合,而形成别的词,看下面的例子:
Un garçon envoie un SMS à une fille. Le message est le suivant : « J’ai envie de discuter du patriotisme avec toi».
A boy sends a girl a SMS. The message reads as follows: “I would like to talk with you about patriotism”.
一个男士发给一个女士一封短信。短信写着:《我想和你做一次爱国主义的讨论。》
La phrase paraît bien innocente. Mais lorsqu’on la lit ligne à ligne cela donne :
J’ai
J’ai envie de faire avec toi
J’ai envie de faire avec toi l’amour
J’ai envie de faire avec toi (sur) « l’amour du pays » une discussion.
The sentence seems very innocent. But when you read it lines after lines, it means:

Le nom de mon professeur / My teacher’s name / 我老师的名字
La première chose que je demande à un nouveau professeur c’est « comment vous appelez vous ? ».
The first question I ask a new teacher is: « What is your name? »
我对新老师提出的第一个问题是:老师您贵姓?
Les noms chinois ne sont pas toujours faciles à retenir et les caractères utilisés pour les noms propres sont souvent des caractères peu courants.
Chinese names are not always easy to remember; the characters used for family names are often unusual.
中国人的名字是不容易记住的。它们大部分不是常用的字。
L’année dernière mon professeur s’appelait Yang Wei. Wei n’est pas un caractère très courant.
Last year my teacher was named Yang Wei. Wei is not a very common character.
我去年的老师叫《杨巍》。《巍》不是普通的字。
Certains de mes camarades après six mois de cours ne connaissaient toujours pas le nom de notre professeur. Ils l’appellent « Le petit avec des lunettes ».
Some students after six months of lessons still did not know the name of our teacher. They call him “the little one who wears glasses”.
有的同学六个月以后还不知道我们老师的名字。他们叫他《戴小眼镜的老师》。
Parmi les professeurs chinois, neuf sur dix doivent correspondre à cette description. Notre professeur, cette année, pourrait aussi s’appeler comme ça !
Among chinese teachers, nine out of ten would match this description. This year, our teacher could also be called that way!
百分之九十的中文老师符合这一描述。今年我们的老师也可以这样称呼!
Pourquoi ne pas retenir le nom de son professeur ? On apprend bien à dire éléphant parce que ce nom peut apparaître dans certaines histoires anciennes. Mais vous reconnaîtrez que j’ai eu beaucoup plus souvent l’occasion de rencontrer mon professeur que de croiser un éléphant à Paris!
Why not remember your teacher’s name? In fact, we learn to say elephant because this word could come up in some old stories. But you must admit that I had more often the chance to meet my teacher than to meet an elephant in Paris!
为什么不用我们老师的名字呢?实际上,我们从古老的故事里学说《大象》这个词,但是你得承认我们在巴黎与老师见面的可能性要远远大于大象!
